In 2010 one of our largest chain customers replaced more than 150,000 par lamps and MR16 lamps. The project cost over 4 million dollars but this capital outlay was earned back in the first year through Energy Savings. Calculations by the customer after 5 years of the LED lamps being in service totaled in excess of 17 million dollars or over $21,250 per store. These savings do not include additional savings through utility rebates and also does not include savings through bulb replacement costs.
